EXCITED (for the Formula 1)
CREATIVE (trying to write a radio series)
watched The Thick Of It from start to end. I am convinced 'Rise of the Nutters' is the finest piece of TV I've seen. And it's all on YouTube!!
haven't done any of the things i had planned
am eating my dinner now, at 2:20am
mostly on a megabus
get on skype or something.
i was walking through soho when a middle aged woman stopped me. i assumed she wanted directions. she asked me if i was looking for a girl. i ran away.
two times too many though :(
the thing with Diary is that i couldn't work out if it was a superb parody of inept, pretentious student films or just an inept, pretentious film.
Early wake-up call - (Medical trials)
Breakfast & greet dad = Bacon roll with too much brown sauce.
Shopping ~ Need new glasses. Do not get new glasses.
Shopping pt. 2 _ Return with CR2 batteries for camera, two disposable cameras (hi yes_) and an iPhomfgne.
Lunch - Chinatown.
Cinema ... The Damned United.
Bulgaria vs. Ireland ^ Soulless hotel pub; draw.
No dinner. Lunch that big.
Not excessively early, but it was a Saturday.
because it ruins my chances with them romantically.
Nice. In other news, watched In Bruges, listened to some new music on spotify, bought some tickets and some records (from the relapse sale) and bummed about. Made a nice salad for lunch. Gonna go bed now.
at what time did you watch it?????? i watched it at about 3pm or so i reckon??!?!?!?!?!?!
AND I bummed out AND salad was involved in my lunch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I watched it about 10pm I guess. What did you think? I was kinda shocked I hadn't seen it till now. Thought it was really quite great- the pacing was right on, good dialogue, funny moments, dark moments, nicely shot. It made me want to go to Bruges.
some incredible lines in it
tbh at the beginning colin farrels acting seemed a bit overdone and shit but by the end i'd warmed to him
I had to put the ones from downstairs on so I could listen to "Heroes" and I'm going to have to buy new ones tomorrow/today. BYE MONEY
It was great
It was bound to be cos it was the first day ive had not doing work/essays in a few weeks
Got to go climbing for the first time in ages
Met up with some people
Bought a walkie talkie watch, we then ran down either end of the street to see the range - it worked, and it was great
that sounds like the best thing ever
only cost 5 quid too
One is blue, the other is white
And it flashes multicoloured when its on the walkie talkie mode
I think its the best purchase ive ever made
i want one!!
This fruit and veg/ newsagent place in maida vale
We only went to get some cigarettes
and near the counter was the box with a big fluro sign that said "walkie talkie watches £5" with so many exclamationmarks that the line went from excited to slightly demented
It was too good an oppurtunity to spurn
there must be somewhere around here that sells them. BUT WHERE??
Your local fruitnveg/offliscence/newsagents
The potential for walkie talkie watches = reason to shop locally
if they had any walkie talkie watches, they mustn't have been as excited about them as your local shop were. maybe there will be walkie talkie watches at the market.
its been lazy.
I've mostly sat about listening to music while playing GTA and occasional writing soem words on said music before drinking beer, watching harry hill, eating lamb, having a sloe gin truffle I got for my birthday, more music, left over curry snack. Then I will no doubt just chill to some comedy podcasts before I go to sleep.
Could have been loads better and exciting but alos could have been a load of shite so there you go
i didnt get alot done but i feel relaxed and clear headed my voice is a bit fucked thou.
spent afternoon with my parents - where with the help of Spotify we sang along to Rogers & Hammerstein's Carousel using lyrics from the net
played them about 20 Shakespeare sonnets / love songs from an album I bought on spec from a bookshop nine years ago - each one read or sung by a different member of Rada
chatted to a friend on Facebook
drove to Liverpool to see Hatcham Social and The Maccabees
fell in love with the photographer - between shots she danced along to the songs :)
chatted to two of the guys from HS - discovered the origin of the band name is 'a woodland clearing' - in olde English - bought their album
got in and had a pizza (I missed eve meal)
Went to the Wildlife Photographer of the Year thing at teh natural history museum. Loled at the massive queue at the main entrance as I strolled straight through the side entrance. Some marvelous photos but the awards for 11-17 year olds really ground my gears. How do so many 12 year olds have Canon EOS 50Ds??? Did they reaallly take these photos all by themselves? Hmm...
Had extremely tasty dim sum near Waterloo for din dins. Would eat again.
woke up early..did a lot of recording..played some xbox..went to a friend's house for dinner..pub for a bit..home
damn near perfect!
I want "Hard to beat the aul music sir" etched on my gravestone
then to the ball, which was better than I thought it would be. Then we went to the usual Saturday night Sunderland hotspot and stayed right 'til the end, but I wasn't really in the mood, too many people and everyone else was drunk I wasn't in a drinking mood...then I got back and found 2 boys who have a habit of harassing me throwing their keys at my window...WHILE THEY WERE TALKING TO ME. Twats, they didn't even recognise me. Then the gates to my halls locked for the first time ever and I didn't have my swipe card, cue a 15 minute wait at 5 in the morning outside security in the freezing cold. Overall a 6/10.
got my hair cut, got three pairs of shoes for £3, got a big pile of money from my dad, went out in sunderland for my birthday it was OKAY, despite me feeling like i hated everyone a bit beforehand. my friend kept falling down stairs and she wasn't even drinking, so that was amusing.
and 3 pairs of shoes for £3...where! Where!
(or w/e it's called) in the bridges? it's closing down. theres loads of boots for like £10 and dolly shoes and plimsols for like 50p- £1. GO NOW. :D.
errmmmm spend most of the night in independent probably. howaboutchuuu?
I was one of 2 very overdressed people with a big piece of white netting stuff, it seemed like a good idea to steal it from the ball venue. With hindsight, I'm not sure it was. It didn't half get in the way.
And I'm going to Qube or whatevs NOW. I don't need to do this work, this is far more important! I'll report back. I swear that's been closing down forever, I got some cheap converse there MONTHS ago...you couldn't get shoes for 50p then though!
aaawww i didn't see you. i would have noticed that, i think :( bet you looked pretty cool though
do it. BUY ALL OF THE SHOES.
has yours been? i know it was sometime around mine, cos WE'RE THE SAME STAR SIGN, i think, yes.
you should have told me.
i could have made you a thread, with pictures of balloons and stuff, like this
Was out last night and it was surprisingly alright, even if I was in the company of someone with a tattoo of a British Bulldog wearing a Union Jack hat.
Got way too drunk though and I'm paying the price now.
