i should watch it, right?
just for the pure outlandishness
enough to justify missing Match of the Day
and i've already seen Flight of the Living Dead, that's pretty much the same thing right?
i haven't seen Flight. worth it?
more entertaining than it probably should be
the ghouls are fast in it
not UTTER SHIT
It looks shit.
he worked with Marcus Nisepl on TCM and Nispel has directed the new Friday the 13th which is out next month. It looks proper good, just a fun teen slasher. Cant wait personally.
go buy some of the original series from HMV, they're always dirty cheap
not so bad that it's good, but properly fucking awful.
I fully plan to never watch it, ever.
I have The Last King Of Scotland from Lovefilm... anyone seen it?
Forest Whittaker deserved his Oscar for that film so much.
but it was out the same time as Blood Diamond and I think BD won the awards they were both nominated for. I really loved Blood Diamond, though.
properly bad? Snakes or F13?
Yeah, I've only seen 2 of the classic Jason films, one of them being Jason X which was appalling. But the new one looks proper good http://www.imdb.com/video/imdb/vi3531670297/
this board isn't linear - you click reply on the post you're replying to and it appears underneath. not a dig, it just helps things make more sense ;)
or rather, wasn't a Jason movie. He was dead before the story began and was retcon'd back to life for part 2, before becoming an invincible superbeing later in the series after it got really daft.
the 'art' of changing or explaining away past events in series storylines to try and remove contradictions in your new plot lines.
see most superhero or villain deaths and later resurrections by later writing teams.
changing aspects of past continuity in newer material.
his mum was the killer yeah? But it built a path for the rest of the series, so I just still class it as a Jason movie. I specifically remember the one where the guys in a wheelchair what ones that?
i think the term comes from comic books.
stupid borken DiS
i saw it the day it came out and i don't regret it one bit.
is that despite the immense amounts of hype for months leading up to release and a huge studio push as a result of some sort of catching the zeitgeist it died at the box office, taking in roughly half what the distributors had predicted. Not even the people who brought it into being were giving it good word of mouth.
it was great up until that point.
i can't tell you though
Up there with 'I'll be Back' me thinks
like someone said up there you hope it will be so bad its good but instead it just falls into the category of really shit.
nowhere near an iconic "I'll be back" or "Hasta la vista, baby"
The only good bits were THAT line and Rachel Blanchard being in it
And blimey the CGI was shoddy.
"My brother from another mother"
Cracking script-writing right there.

so they did. Test audiences making a film better for once!
