Which is not what I want in a sliced meat.
I don't trust the word 'corned'. The idea of 'corn' being a verb upsets me.

twisting the key around the tin, praying it doesn't break, then cutting your finger as you persuade the meat from it's metal jacket... it's all part of the corned beef experience!
agreed, it is ideal being able to slice your own width of corned heavenlyness, but if it's not been in the fridge it can go to the death place. pre-sliced = pre-chilled FTW!
