anyone want to come with me? the prince charles is only a fiver or something a ticket!
i can't go on wednesday.
i'm going to get the 30th off work as i'm owed a day and go to the afternoon screening.
i massively failed to realise that i'm already super busy this wednesday.
i didnt like deathproof
I quite enjoyed most of it
the version of deathproof came out here was an extended version. i haven't seen it.
well its probably a lot better when shorter
everyone should go to this, both films are brilliant. And I don't even dig Tarantino that much.
robert rodriguez did planet terror.
whilst planet terror was OK. Deathproof was absolutely thoroughly awful, completely abysmal. Whilst I'm sure it will be much improved shorter, it would need to be cut down to about 10 minutes to become truly watchable.
the car bit at the end is about 20 minutes long
would have been SO GOOD but i was working. poop.
THAT GOES FOR ROB TOO
IN THE MIDDLE OF THE AFTERNOON ON THE 30TH AS I AM SUPER BUSY THIS WEDNESDAY. IF YOU WANT TO COME THEN, YOU ARE WELCOME. THANKS SARAH.
in both the pm i sent you and further up this thread :P
damn you. i would so be there otherwise. been keeping an eye on the pcc times for aaages...
Planet Terror is hilarious, Death Proof is super cool and the trailers make me wanna go watch about 2billion exploitation films
who we're probably signing.
they're back over in august though, hopefully they'll play a headline show or something around the same time.
Its really good. I can see why the films didn't do well on their own, but together they work well. Check out the trailers in the middle. The only problem is, going to the toilet, as I did this at the end of the first film, and a group of people followed me out. I think they thought that it was the end...
really not arsed by Deathproof though. I'll just wait a month or two for Planet Terror to get cheaper
i thought it was brilliant. really enjoyed both films, and i was nicely surprised to find out Death Proof was a silly car chase movies with loads of references to Vanishing Point in it, because i love silly car chase movies and Vanishing Point.
the Prince Charles seems to be showing it again next Wednesday evening, for anyone who still wants to see it :)
