sweet zombie jesus, how did that one get approved?!?
i emjoyed it muchly :)
"I've made my choice..." Although plot-wise, I guess it wasn't the greatest.
It's a John Swartzwelder script as well. (Yeah, look at me listening to too many DVD writers' commentaries)
Along with George Meyer and Conan O'Brien. And anyone writing between 1992-97 in fact.
Benders Big Score? It knocks the Simpsons movie into a cocked hat with ease.
It's a genuine for the fans effort. There's countless subtle references that had the geek in me squeeling with delight.
my DVD is still somewhere between the US and the UK :(
You're in for a treat when it arrives. Probably the finest movie length TV comedy (animated or otherwise) I've ever seen. Great stuff.
Some rabid Fox bashing going on too, which is always a bonus.
that was cringetastic
than the simpsons movie but it's not the greatest, will watch it again soon though to try and comprehend the plot properly! 6.5/10.
and, for the most part, nonsense. But I thought it was funny throughout all the same. I'd go 8/10 easy.
How/when was it released?
In lieu of a new TV deal. There's gonna be a couple more straight to DVD movies apparently
Have they actually got any kind of TV deal in the pipe line? It got canned so damn early it's a freaking travesty.
compared to other recent efforts. There were a couple of genuine laugh out loud moments. As with all current Simpsons, they palpably didn't know how to end it
It's in my top 25 episodes ever, if I were to write such a list. Ok maybe top 40.
as yesterday's! I didn't laugh at all yesterday!!!
The end was a bit rubbish though.
the really shitty period of Simpsons then? If I remember right, it gets worse before it gets better.
semi-new simpsons makes me sad. really new simpsons, I pretend doesn't exist.
it's time to quit.
I'd succesfully repressed any memory of that episode. Now it's all coming flooding back like a tsunami of shit...
that the simpson went shit?
if not, it must be pretty close
it's one of the best of the last few years of the simpsons
it's slightly confusing how they manage to fit such a strange plot into about 20 minutes, by the end i'd completely forgotten about the screamapillar.
