are there any decent ones?
i'm going down on saturday for a party and fancy doing a bit of browsing beforehand..
but obviously i want CDs.
by a milkshake that actually tastes like milkshake. i don't remember seeing any record shops on the lanes though. £4 is pretty good considering the music exchange at notting hill is usually more expensive than fopp if not the same.
a nice record shop on the lanes once but it was fairly pricey and all new stuff. my friends live there anyway, so i suspect i'll just wander around there until i get confused and lost.
Rounder is very expensive
look no further than across the tracks which is on the corner of sydney st and err another one.
Basically if you find Resident (which is probably the best non-2nd hand one) then turn right out of it, walk for a bit and you'll see it.
Opposite Resident is Snoopers Paradise which is a huge junk shop. Its overpriced in the main, but its fun to look around and see their stockpiles of Sonic the Hedgehog games and Gloria Estefan cassettes.
Where's the party?
Yes Guntrip WHERE IS THE PARTY?
that's great, thanks.
they're lovely people in there and deserve good business.
was just interested as I might be going to one that i know is happening and thought it might be the same one. I'd hazard a guess that on any given saturday there is more than one party in Brighton though, so maybe not!
and i'm proud of it
'The one with a banger war outside the house'
O YERRRRRR! This one was only spread over 3 floors, the Garden and the Street though :(
I think I might of gone to that party, I remember leopard print in one party I went to about 2 weeks ago!
in one area, the Hannover area is notorious for parites. As is the area near London road.
i just went to resident. and abused my credit card. it was cheap AND had things i wanted!
i also went to the punker bunker and felt way out of my depth, thankfully my friend was totally punk and i think he covered for both of us. i did buy the new japanther album though, i've not listened yet but i hope they've put some effort into it.
i played in brighton on saturday
you couldve come
it was rachel's flatwarming as well..
i thought about her as well since she is one of liek 2 people i have ever met that live in brighton and werent at the gig.
i drank too much and passed out on the sofa and then decided to get the first train home, except http://www.drownedinsound.com/articles/2658958
i couldnt decide to stay in brighttown and get first train or get last train on sat. ended up going back to ldn (taking a brightonian friend with me) and going to after skool lol
glad i got train then
and suddenly time skipped from 10pm to 1am and i was drinking something that was bright pink and rachel was trying to get to try it on with one of her friends by telling me that she was mental but that i'd get on really with her.
i really wish i'd got that train, although if i'd run into you i have no doubt you'd have arrived at afterskool with me in tow...
wouldn't be covered in sick?
i had the foresight to take them out of the bag i was going to vomit in. oh theo...
It takes a special level of cunning to be able to do this prior to a vom moment that cannot be avoided.
