and it still be safe to eat like?
This may or may not be true. But I get a new tin in there every four-five days. I'd probably say it's safe to eat for about 8-10 days though, as long as it's covered. I just never give mine long enough to get to that stage.
so i thought they had eaten it, unyil this fair morn, whereupon i noticed the fine tasting specimin laid out in front of me in all it's majesty. after wiping off the Jizz i made the buffest sandwich i've made so far this week, and a terrific benchmark for further corned beef exploits later in the week.
I've always eaten it before it becomes an issue. That stuff is amazing.
Followed by a Pepperami. I'm on a meat high.
should be banned! :)
It doesn't keep too long. I had some in the fridge for 3 days and it went all hard and crispy at the edges. It's gross stuff anyway. Minced up snout and feet!
Fookin' minging. I'd rather eat my own arsehole, rather than a cow's which I would be. Or is it zebu?
anyway, i wasn't talking to you.
I'm hurt you weren't talking to me :-(
follow the chain of replies, it's on the same verticel as your reply, hence or otherwise i was replying to soph.
nothing can get to it & the very limited oxygen within the container, if any, will prevent any reactions happening & moisture cant escape.
In which case it can in theory last a verrrrry long time, but once opened... not much longer then normal meat would.
you're supposed to put it in the fridge for a day or so before you open it, otherwise you won't be able to cut it properly.
What do you do with it? Is it mainly a sandwich filling? I can remember it being present in my life in some indefinable way when I was little, but I can't recall ever actually eating any.
well it is, but it's for sandwiches, in which it is the buffness
perhaps you could use some of your corned beef supplies to make some of this hash (following a recipe such as the one that I saw the other day)?
but i prefer to keep my corned beef and my hash seperate
BUT THANKS ANYWAY.
