what was the fuss about again?
by the public on Cadbury's, and that now they've been re-launched no one will buy them.
i have one most days, schockinglee
because they are Dairy Milk
I saw something the other day called a Cadbury's flake 'Dipped' which was a Flake covered in chocolate. So basically a Twirl then. but only one stick. for the same price.
What has the world come to?
Cadbury's see profits rise.
Next on the list: some cunt trying to tell us that legwarmers are cool, and that dog poo was always better when it was white.
I'll leave you to have a brief think about what sort of list that would leave you on.
keeps coming to mind.
but when students want something they get it
Thats why we have top-up fees
The gubberment conclusively showed that all students were heavily in favour of top up fees - as high as they could get them.
Get on the trolley, rube!
It was very nice.
It was like sale chocolate.
The only thing better than them would be dark chocoloate wispas. I've done a bad thing just thinking about them...
Wispa Mint and Gold were both better. They should stop teasing us, and bring back the whole range.
I publically challenge you to eat a Wispa Mint with a straight face and claim to enjoy it.
to leave them in your pocket til they melt slightly. Then they is nice.
my trouser legs. It looks like an animal has pooed in my lap.
I saw an advert on a phonebox though.
Meh, I can live without them - I don't even remember what they were like, just sorta them existing.
now I don't care and also I'm slightly annoyed with myself as I don't usually eat chocolate and I kept on buying them.
stupid susceptible mind.
you'll just be disappointed.
i'm sad just thinking about it - i could've had a time out, or a boost, or a twix, or whatever to go with my lunchtime red bull.
but NO. i gave in to the marketing :(
since i got back from being on leave, i've started drinking red bull at lunchtime. i don't know whyyyyy :(
time outs are the perfect fusion of wafer, flake and chocolate. f'sure.
Wispa was never completely discontinued. In theory it was replaced by 'Dairy Milk Bubbly'. Which was a bar the shape of a Dairy Milk but with the inner consistency of a Wispa (i.e. bubbles).
If you were a fan of bubbly chocolate, surely you would prefer a bar with a greater volume - thereby giving you a bubblier chocolate experience?
The volume of a dairy milky bar is smaller than a Wispa - and it also does not have a uniform surface area - the dips between each of the six trademark segments further reduces the capacity of the innards for bubble content.
THEREFORE: Dairy Milky Bubble was, at best, a flaccid replacement for the full thrust of a Wispa bar. The attempts to homogenise the Cadrbury range - whilst having a certain visual appeal have, in this case, hit a bum note. When texture is the selling point of your product, that should be the focus. Not the fleeting appeal of a standardised bar.
I for one hope that the thus-far temporary return of Wispa will in time come to mark an end to the tyranny of 'Dairy Milk Bubbly' and that, in due course, 'Wispa Gold' and other variants will also return.
i'll say it again, Wispa Gold ftw.
Wispa Gold. There was a confectionary masterclass!
I hate forced nostalgia.
as a mint aero, but probably better than a chocolate aero...
was the chocolate orange bubbler
am I missing out?
I think it was a limited edition test marketing thing, they were so so so so so good and then they took them away so cruel
And I am glad to see them back. As somebody said up there ^^^, they taste better when they're ever so slightly melted
I feel validated.
they've taken all the coverage away from the mighty return of Worcester Sauce Walkers, easily the best crisp ever made
worcester sauce contains anchovies. A quick check of the new crisp packets said they were suitable for vegetarians so I was a happy chappy then.
they've invented the Kit Kat Peanut Butter Chunky since the discontinuation of Wispas. There is no need for any other chocolate bar in this world anymore.
Everytime I got enough for one choc bar i'm torn between Peanutbutter Kit Kat Chunky or Wispa
Peanut Chunky 5 - 2 Wispa
Though work vending machine stocks Wispas now, so I guess it will balance out.
Wispas are better slightly melted or solid cold, not room tempurature chocolate
peanuts in them a la snickers, or are they just flavoured?
as I remember liking them much better than aeros when they were around.
Still good, and still better than aeros, but just a tiny bit underwhelming.
