chris carter has a great imagination but zero ability to reign it in and form cohesive plotlines.
also, it'll be interesting to see what form it takes, if it's a continuation from The Truth or not..
the set pieces were good, and it tied nicely into the mythology. didn't work a standalone piece despite what was said, but then i don't think anyone really expected it to.
just a fairly disappointing double episode.
The worst bit is the 'English' guy whose family life seems to be based on England circa 1920. Good one, Yanks. :-/
