Is it wrong to fancy someone entirely based upon how they write?
Nah, not at all. A significant cause of me falling in love with a past girlfriend was that I liked her emails.
dos she do the ritting gud?
to her fortnightly pieces on music at the back of the Guardian. I'm not a massive fan of her other writing, but those little articles are so well written, they capture the love of music perfectly.
Hadley Freeman, both for her writing and her beautiful face <3
i usually get laughed at for my Hadley Freeman love.
my mum told me she was american and it changed my world.
i'm 50-50 on jess cartner-morley though.
Brainlove's met everyone.
especially in her case.
But I don't think I'd fall in love with her because of it.
Are you jealous?
even my mum said i should go for him. brainlove?
I would be the dry, unsmiling one.
I'd be the flash in the pan one who just laughs horsily everytime someone else says something
Yeah, I enjoy it. And her genuine passion for music is beyond question. But sometimes her Guardian column just comes across as a little bit... formulaic?
Mention early morning/late night/car journey scenario
Mention the fact that I've listened to them repeatedly
I always enjoy reading it, but it's pretty much the same few paragraphs every week but with a different band name in there
and the fact that she likes Van Morisson and The Doors lowered her considerably in my estimation, but she's probably still one of the best rock writers in the mainstream press.
hadley freeman in person and she is very pretty. awesome name too.
i have recently been having some weird shit dreams though
Most of the writers in the Guardian Film & Music section are great, I love Alexis Petridis and her.
secret corners... is as good as anything she's written.
