will something bad happen to me now?
did they deserve it?
if they didn't no. maybe. don't worry.
it was more a case of them being unsuitable for the job. she's foreign, and her written grasp of english is.. not good, and we have to write a lot of emails to the public.
basically, i 'mentioned' that i was thought the quality of her work was poor, and that it was generating more work for the rest of us. all of which was true, but not realllllllly her fault..
she can't do the job. she should go do an IELTS or something.
a language is a skill just like anything else. sounds like she just wasn't skilled enough to do the job without being a burden to to her colleagues.
My mate Andy says thank you if it is
this is why i stopped working for councils - far too many ex-geeks who got bullied at school exacting revenge by being narks and pedants. Not saying that you are but I expected better from you!
before we start rowing as usual. YOu should never go behind people's back at work, never.
don't mention the NME from 1980 will you?
i just didn't think she was suitable for the job, and i didn't like having to clear up her mess when she pissed off customers.
you didn't ask for her to be fired, did you? It's not your fault.
i'm not that much of a bastard!
you know the spirit in which you made comment, if it was without malice and you had no idea she would get into trouble and it was something thatneeded to be said, then that the firers karmic lookout probably......still all this is pointless coming from us, only YOU know whether you deserve karmic retribution
i, in a managerial capacity of trying to act in someone's best interests, shared some information about them - in purely professional way - that would have got them into some trouble. then they died. srsly. i don't know if they ever got the bollocking i effectively sent their way but i hope not. big lesson in 'there's more to life than work' for me.
