but part of me wishes i did.
I'm going to use it to abuse my Morrissey loving mate.
(and its not even particular witty anyway)
"Morrissey is famous for his witty and acerbic put-downs of his detractors, so be careful not to get on his bad side. He famously described the writer of The Smiths' biography (Morrisey and Marr: The Severed Alliance), Johnny Rogan, as 'Johnny Rodent', if you can believe that. He also playfuly retitled the book 'The Sausage Appliance'. Linguistic genius such as this is a gift to be treasured."
'wit' with 'sarcasm'.
is so much fun, especially if it's done in the way that piece is.
to both of you, would be similar to the reaction 30 seconds through this:
that whole clip is the greatest thing on EARTH
a video of el quiffo on a bus with school children, or the fact that someone has kept that video for 20 years.
and site is moronic rubbish though :(
i see no problem here
i don't think there's a positive article on there. clearly lulz-driven rather than ideological, and it's becoming increasingly essential to make the distinction.
they don't make tv like that anymore
I especially like the way it is in the category of
'this Morrissey is not as good a Morrissey as Peter Gabriel, who is a better Morrissey than Morrissey himself.'
that is much better. ED is better when it sticks to the nerd stuff.
(solo stuff, any rate), but that really isn't that funny. They've spectaculary failed to successfully mock a man that is, in many ways, quite ridiculous
but thought that article sounded like a poorly written, childish and vindictive outburst.
that's the entire point of encyclopedia dramatica, and also why it's so funny.
