3 albums of great songs, probably my favourite female vocal, Is the gimmick the fact that it's drums and vocal? It works for me and I wouldn't say there is any less variation in the songs because of it. Perhaps a little overtly ethereal in interview viewpoint at times but I can let go because I don't think it bleeds too heavily in to the music.
they're working on new stuff later this year, once the Mariam the Believer tour is over.
didn't know she'd done solo stuff. is it good?
It was in my top 3 last year. i guess more mainstream and singer/songwriter than W&P but great none the less, she released an ep a couple of days ago too.
Both are also heavily involved in Fire Orchestra as well who just released their second album. big jazz post-rock ensemble thing.
but as citizen said working on a new album, hopefully released before year end.
But I don't.

it's......absolutely stunning! This band blow me away pretty consistently.
some fantastic tracks on it. I've managed to attach more personal meaning to the track Soft Wind Soft Death than I've ever attached to a song before. Album gets a 9 outta 10 from me.
Can confirm is excellent
There will be some tickets on the door, W&P are on early, around 8.30pm.
