Greatest Duets
Haven't seen a thread about duets on here in a while, I guess because with a lot of indie bands it's pretty common nowadays with bands like Broken Social Scene and Dirty Projectors et al.
There's something I really love about duets, maybe it's the hopeless romantic in me, but when you get the harmonizing right you can really have something amazing. It's a fine line though between faux emotional lovey bullshit and a genuinely great sounding song.
Post your favourite duet and why with a youtube link. I'll start with this classic

It still sounds incredible to this day. Pretty interesting lyrics and manages different time signatures between verses without it sounding jarring. I want to meet this Phaedra.

I'm not taking the piss. It's a song that I used to love as a kid before I knew who was cool and who wasn't. It's just a great tune.

As far as indie duets go, it may not necessarily be billed as a duet
but I've always thought of Belle & Sebastian's Lazy Line Painter Jane as a duet. It's the first B&S song that I heard. Brilliant song. I love Monica Queen's voice.

Also Postal Service's nothing better is a particularly good example of the back-and-forth of a duet

Great tune that kind of got lost in the post-Britpop late 90s - if I remember rightly one of Supergrass was involved.
Cerys Matthews & Tom Jones?
Nah, just kidding, that was a horrisonant catenation of idiopathic Fray Bentos.
