I'm apparently having a day where they're all I want to listen to.
What's your favourite DMST record?
Where's good to start?
if you've never listened to them, definitely check out KC Accidental - Kevin Drew and Charles Spearin's pre-BSS band, two records of half DMST, half BSS shapes. wonderful wonderful stuff.
Such a beautiful record. Really sad to be missing them tomorrow :(
but it's great
by some distance
for the first time :)
with support from Eyes & No Eyes
This now as I'll be up north, anyone want my e-ticket for a tenner? Message if interested.
Still utterly besotted with it, far and away my favourite.
JAG: I asked them some questions here. They weren't as verbose as I'd've liked, but what the hell http://thefourohfive.com/news/article/the-405-meets-do-make-say-think
I was expecting the GEA set but they played...
Auberge Le Mouton Noir
If I Only…
The Landlord is Dead
End of Music
Goodbye Enemy Airship
When Day Chokes The Night
Reitschule being the name of the venue being somehow connected with the song. Wonderful.
what a set
However I have a signed copy of You, You're A History In Rust. Whoever signed it drew a naked lady :D
and this is being fixed as we speak
but I love, LOVE, how Frederica and Le Mouton Noir kinda segue into each other via War on Want on Winter Hymn. Proper tunes, proper goosebumps.

Got time for all their records, but like YYAHIR best.
Who's supporting them tomorrow night in London?
I can't wait for it!
You, You're a History in Rust is very close to perfection.
PM me or shout for it on here. A mere tenner for what should be an immense gig.
ill have one of these e tickets if they are still going?
how to send a message on the mobile skin but pop one my way and I'll get you sorted.
yo, sent you a pm but if you cant read it just call me on 07873589285. ta, joel
and incredibly consistent band. I love all of their records but I would probably reach for & Yet & Yet first.
I'd also encourage any fans of theirs to check out the self-titled Valley Of The Giants record which features Charles Spearin along with Brendan from BSS and Sophie from Godspeed amongst others
Was it me or were they tremendously pissed? So many bum notes hit, perpetually missing cues, going out of time, they managed to sober up/ bring it together a bit towards the end, but the start at least was a hell of a disappointment.
But there were some off timings.
I've always thought of GEATLID as self-consciously sloppy and drunken anyway, didn't notice any of the bum notes or off timings. Then again I was holed up upstairs at the back.
if anyone has any burning questions?
Other Truths, Winter Hymn... and & Yet & Yet, I've never explored past them until today. Listened to You, You're A History In Rust. Really enjoyed it and will spend tomorrow listening to the rest of their catalogue.
