As a big Cat Power fan, today's review on DiS has sort of irked me: http://drownedinsound.com/releases/17200/reviews/4145415 - I agree it's a truly great record tho!
There's a line in it about The Greatest being some sort of perceived creative peak... I realise for me this is especially irksome as Chan's music has always soared above and beyond 99.99% of everything else released in the past decade, so the idea of comparing her with herself, sort of misses this context, but I'm fanboyishly nit-picking..
For me any sort of 'peak' was You Are Free (but then it is my favourite Cat Power lp), for which Sun seems to be a Rhythm & Badu part two... others would say Moon Pix was her 'peak' (and that's my second favourite, if you pushed me to pick and choose)
