pretty good, huh? i wanted to hug them. instead i spent £15 on a t-shirt. whoops.
looking forward to Canterbury tonight
Dan looked so much happier than he did when he toured with Wolf Parade, and Alexis was such an energetic and charismatic performer. Sound mix a bit too bassy at the expense of the guitars and it seemed to be over in a blink of an eye, but I enjoyed it a lot. Which is more than could be said for Dan Smith...
Great energy, nice loud sound, really good fun, and perfectly pitched lengthwise (left wanting just a little bit more).
At the risk of offending someone, what the shit was that opening act? Worst disparity in quality (not to mention style) at a gig that I've come across in some time.
My friends all seemed to love them.
think they pushed the limits of tolarance for a support act, they could have at least given a courtesy 'weve got a couple more songs' towards the end to give some hope that it would end but they just kept on going.
Hansome furs were pretty good, seemed to really enjoy themselves, it was so loud my eyeballs were shaking
