4th Annual DiSers Album of the Year poll

It's that time again. Instructions:

List your top five albums of the year. Any albums as long as they were released in 2008. Put them in order if you're that way inclined and #1 will score 5 points, #2 will score 4 points etc. If you can't/won't put them in order they'll all score 3 points. I'll total up all the points to find the DiSers top 50 albums of the year. Feel free to list more than five albums but note only the first five you list will score points.

I know it's still only 4th December so I'll leave this open until January if you feel you need to give albums that have just been released/will be released in December a fair go. As is the tradition, I'll go first:

        I know it's only half an album, but I simply cannot believe MGMT have been shunned they way they have over there. They have been possibly the most-played band on Australian airwaves this year. Someone please enlighten me!
        
        And yes i realise that by putting it at number one, i'm saying that the first half of Oracular Spectacular is better than any other album this year. That's my contention, and i'm sticking with it!
