Just to remind you, I asked people to list their top 50 albums of 2005. If they put them in order, #1 scored 5 points, #2 scored 4 points and so on. If they just listed 5 albums they scored 3 points each. Funeral won by and embarrassing margin (169 points to Sufjan's 65). It really does seem to have won the affection of dicerning music lovers every more than any record I can remember (except me of course, I must have been born without the part of the brain that allows people to appreciate it).
Congratulations to former England fast bowler and sometime DiS forummer devonmalcolm who through many hours of complex calculations I proved to have the most 'typical' DiS music taste of 2005.
Also well done to mug-mug-mug, lyle and Placid_Casual who all chose albums that didn't feature in the Top 50. It's good to be different.
