the bit where March of the Pigs really kicks in is MIGHTY.
MIGHTY I SAY.
i hope NIN tour here soon.
I would love to see them live, it looks like they put on one hell of a show. It's a bit strange we haven't had another NIN album in a few months, they usualy drop one every few minuets...
and they blew me away, great sound, really intense and an amazing light show / projections.
thats what you want from a big bands show
at the Astoria just before With Teeth came out and at Reading last summer. their live shows are incredible, a total sensor overload of noise and lights and violent music.
they're on tour in North America right now so I'm hoping they'll be over here early next year.
they have Deerhunter & A Place to Bury Strangers with them as well in the US which is a bti tastey... I wont mention Dose it offend you yeah?... oh balls I just did...
I was listening to my NIN playlist earlier. Trent Reznor is just consistently great.
but I still really like it
it's no Pretty Hate Machine in this regard...
PHM is fucking brilliant!
I think it's probably my favourite, but I love 'em all, 'cept for The Fragile.
i know that^ makes no sense, but i feel a bit protective of PHM
I can't decide if that's a bad thing
2. If DD ever wrote a song as good as Sanctified, I'd probably own all their records
The Downward Spiral is the only NIN album I own.
you should really get Broken.
if more than that, Pretty Hate Machine, Further Down The Spiral, Year Zero and And All That Could Have Been (CD and DVD) are totally worth getting.
it's fucking great, and, as a free download, fucking great value!
but both sound dated, but both still sound pretty great
...but jesus fucking christ they were fierce at reading last year. absolutely amazing.
should be hitting europe in 09.
No hard source i'm afraid, just hope, lots of hope and the general consensus of the nin site's forums, from which i just found out that josh freeze is leaving the live band after the american shows, bleh.
They won't be as good live anymore. Aaron North is no longer with them, and he was one of the best things about them. Him and Trent trashing the stage after Head Like A Hole= one of the best things I've ever seen.
have you see the "And All That Could Have Been" live film? it's from the Fragility tour and it's INCREDIBLE.
