but i know i don't like it. You can't get lost in the depth of everything else when there's the sharpness of the drums at the forefront
Also it's like when you're in the room next door to a rave and the drums remain loud while everything else is muddy and indistinct.
I should spend less time on here
the funny thing is I can sort of see what you're getting at. I do love that album and the drum sounds in particular, though, so I don't know what my point is.
That is if you are referring to the same Burial album i have.
i think it's their first album
A lot of his percussion sounds are found sounds, e.g. keys rattling. I know one of his favourite snare sounds is the sound of a bullet casing hitting the floor in Metal Gear Solid.
i've always wondered.
I can't see myself listening to Burial too much come the summer months
It adds to the ghostly rave appeall for me. Which sounds a bit like a spin off of children in need..... Phone in and donate to rave causulties who still think its 1988 give al you can to the Ghostly Rave Appeall.... I'll shut up now.
Is it that bad?
He use the sound of flicking a lighter a lot too.
