The National. Absolutely perfect.
and im listening to editors. weird. I really like their new single, despite being fully aware that its a bit gay. Sometimes you just enjoy a bit of delayed guitars and increasingly coldplay esque choruses
chutes too narrow and oh inverted world.
It's the most ordinary thing I have heard in a long time. I know it's said a lot, but really, their utter lack of progression is the most interesting thing about them.
I dunno, i just like his voice and stuff and am in the mood for it. Its odd. The bsides off their first album are really goood though.
Now im listening to my latest novel. Ahhhhhhh. Lovely
And then I'm dreaming, or at least I might be?
a bside? cos i like that one.
ocean songs. totally.
neil young - harvest
or the best of the walker brothers.
Keep drinking and listen to AC/DC.
Yeah! It's what Todd Trainer would do. That guy is rocking ALL the time.
That's what I'll be listening to this afternoon to get rid of my hangover, anyway...
Either way, sooooothing.
but when I am really tired and hungover I love punishingly nasty metal. Converge and ENVY usually.
great for hotboxing a room too as well. Or sleeping in a sunny park.
by broken social scene
is doing it for me now too :-)
with 2 Panda Bear albums on repeat for the whole day. soooooo spaced out, but lovely.
Sunn 0))) or Joanna Newsom. My hungover brain is consistantly drawn to these two artists for some reason.
usually works for me. Or something ambient amd soothing.
oooh, i'm just so out there!
Iron and Wine
or just something HORRIBLY LOUD.
what album should i get?
he has two solo albums.
They usually combine them on one cd. So that.
in The Byrds and The Flying Burritto Brothers.
He was always being kicked out of groups...
Relaxing, soothing, warms the heart and doesn't hurt the head.
Whoever said The National gets a gold star and a brownie.
Also, Radicalfashion. Blissful japanese classical ambience goes a long way during these troubled moments.
