Midway Still

Fuck You

Label: Antipop Records Release Date: 04/12/2000

jmoore by James Moore December 4th, 2000

Midway Still return with their first release since ‘Counting Days’ seven years ago

Earlier this year the mighty Grouch split and Paul decided to do a Midway Still reunion gig (albeit without Jan), this was supposed to be their first and last gig together. Things didn’t go as he planned and they’ve decided to release this. As you’d expect ‘Fuck You’ is a fast and furious song that features the F word quite a lot… you would of thought they’d know better at their age. ‘Since You’ve Been Gone’ is another short but to the point Punk song that sounds a tiny bit like ‘A’ but much much better. It all goes a bit wrong after that, the other two songs are awful, first off you get a bongo version of their previous release ‘Counting Days’ and then a Jazz version of ‘Fuck You’… they can’t be going deaf and senile already… can they?
