The Truck Festival returns for a seventh year between 24-25 July, and a host of acts are already confirmed. Tickets are on sale now priced at just £25 from www.wegottickets.com.
Run by the band Goldrush and a host of other like-minded souls at their Truck label, it now has a capacity of 3,000 and will be further cementing its reputation as being the UK’s only truly independent music festival. It’s known for showcasing a vast array of music, often missed by other events. Donating over £20,000 to various charities from Art Therapy to Mali Redevelopment, it does its bit too. Last year over £3,000 was made on banana milkshake alone!
Truck replaces advertising boards with passion and overpriced, under-prepared food with locally-produced niceness. It may be a bit too ‘indie’ for hardcore V Festival goers, but it’s the perfect remedy for those Glasto sellout blues and for anyone who fancies a chilled out, relaxing weekend where great new music is top of the menu.
