All Warp Records are now bleeping MP3s
afuture1 by Andrew Future November 17th, 2003
Warp Records, the London-based cutting-edge indie label made infamous by the likes of Aphex Twin, Boards Of Canada and Broadcast, is the first record label to make their back catalogue and all future releases available via the internet, as high quality, pay-per-track MP3 downloads.

bleep.com will be the official Warp Records MP3 outlet and unlike other file sharing sites, won’t require any additional software. It launches in December, and is a great opportunity to delve into realms of weirdness and beauty that pollute just under 300 album and single releases.

>DiScuss: Will this set a precedent for the majors and herald an end to Kazaa?
