It's all Irie with Cats x3
crablin by Colin Roberts April 10th, 2006

It's like, a great tour. If you don't go, then you are a rubbish.

This month, the indie-rock sonic-meddling of Tired Irie and the mathematical aural delights of Cats and Cats and Cats (pictured) are unleashed across a host of British venues.

For those who are unfamiliar with the two bands, Tired Irie have been sporadically popping out of Leicester over the last twelve months, toting their quiet/loud hypnotic chant-rock. Their debut 7" through Try Harder has nearly sold out, the last few of which will be available on this tour, alongside a special CD-R wrapped in wallpaper.

DiS caught Cats and Cats and Cats recently at White Heat, where they were debuting some new material. I was blown away. Seriously. Actually quite in awe. Check it.

DATES!!! -

April
13 Guildford The Star (+ Dive Dive + Optimist Club)
14 Southampton The Firehouse
16 London Holloway Road Nambucca (+ Blood Red Shoes + The Siegfried Sassoon)
17 Manchester Star and Garter
18 Lincoln Bivowac
19 Newcastle Dog & Parrot (+ Peace Burial at Sea)

DiScuss: Seriously, how fucking ace is that London date? I love these bands lots and so should you! Both bands are really pretty too; probably younger than you as well... how does that make you feel? Pretty shit, eh?
