Love Music, Hate Racism: April Carnival
sean by Sean Adams February 17th, 2003
Death to the BNP! A date for your diary!

The second, Love Music, Hate Racism Carnival, takes place in Burnley on Sunday April 27th which is just four days before May's local elections when two of the Nazi BNP's Burnley councillors are up for re-election.

The line-up announced so far includes Basement Jaxx, Elbow, and dis-faves Miss Black America. We'll keep you updated as more acts are confirmed.

Arranged by the Anti-Nazi league, the love/hate event, is planned to "use the positive energy of the music scene to fight back against the racism being pushed by Nazi organizations such as the British National Party, National Front and Combat 18."

There's more info over at lmhr.org.uk.

DiScuss: Did the last event really have 35,000 in manchester? Or was it more? How do you think we can stop fascism in the uk? Will you be at the Carnival?
