Back in December, New Music Cities - a music documentary series by AllSaints Studios, in partnership with Dazed Vision - took you deep inside the past, present and future of New York, with Richard Hell telling the tale of the city. Next up, their cameras' eye explores South London.
In this South London episode, Hip hop pioneer Roots Manuva narrates as local electronic music duo Mount Kimbie give a live performance on a rooftop. The episode also features breakout star Katy B, young soul and R&B vocalist Tawiah and multitasking producer and singer-songwriter Kwes.
You can watch the full documentary on AllSaints.com.
To give you a taste of the documentary, here's DiS-favourites Mount Kimbie in session, on a rooftop, performing 'Home Recording':

Chatting about the series, Wil Beedle, Creative Director at AllSaints explains:
“The whole premise of the New Music Cities series is to scratch the surface of the global music scene. By searching beyond the most-documented artists, we’ve been able to discover some incredibly exciting and daring musicians, operating for the love of connecting with their community. It’s this independent spirit and attitude, so prevalent in south London, that we feel fits both AllSaints and Dazed’s outlook on life in the city.”
