This year's Manchester-based In The City festival has announced another substantial raft of artists who will play across the city this year and, no joke, it is going from strength to strength, with some corkers added in this time. Joining the previously announced bands will be:
Sky Larkin, Is Tropical, Porcelain Raft, Oh No Ono, O Children, Team Ghost, Chad Valley, D/R/U/G/S, Hype Williams, Mz Bratt, Ruff Diamondz, American Men, Fiction, Breton, Brown Brogues, Ellen and the Escapades, Eagulls, Scorcher, Jodie Conner, Dog Is Dead, Slow Motion Shoes, Lissi Dancefloor Disaster, Beaty Heart, The Bewitched Hand On The Top Of Our Heads, Mujeres, Youthless and Bright Light Bright Light.
They join these already announced notables: No Age, Mount Kimbie, Male Bonding, Yuck, Crystal Fighters, Factory Floor, oOoOO, White Ring, Skepta, Kisses, Ital Tek, Teeth, Andreya Triana, Mazes, John Weise and Spectrals.

This year's In The City runs from 13-15 October. Wristbands are currently priced at £29 and a hostel and wristband package is just £72 for 3 nights stay at Hatters. An early bird delegate pass will set you back £150 plus VAT until August 31. And finally, if you're feeling flash or flush, a hotel and pass package is £450 for 3 nights at City Inn, which is the main conference venue.
