Man! This Record Store Day campaign is really hotting up. It's hard to know really where to look, what with Blur releasing new material especially for it, and Pulled Apart By Horses offering the hand of kindness to us and you.
That hand of kindness has now been extended to us from Sub Pop and Beach House, who are offering two tracks - one to download and one to stream - entirely for free. They're one of the better labels who have taken up the SoundCloud baton and ran with it at relatively high speed, for which we can only be thankful.
The first is a UK Radio Edit of 'Zebra', originally taken from Teen Dream. How this version differs from the album one I'm not totally sure, but do get back to me if you find out. The fact that it's about a minute shorter would be a guess. It's also the one you can download. Or should be able to but the widget seems to be having a few problems. Just go here to get it instead. OK ya?
Then there's a WHOLE NEW song from the dream-pop duo, entitled 'The Arrangement'. This has been around for a day or so longer than the above, so apologies for any delay. We thought you'd want to give it a listen, anyway.
Both of the above slices are taken from Beach House's Zebra 12", which features two new tracks, the above 'The Arrangement' and 'Baby'. It also has a Cough Syrup remix of 10 Mile Stereo, which sits on side two.
