To be honest, if I absolutely had to pick a place where some of the best British bands are coming out of, I'd say Leeds. For real. I'd put Glissando in that bunch, too, along with others like worriedaboutsatan, Sky Larkin, Pulled Apart By Horses and lots lots more.
The good news this Monday morning is that Glissando are giving away a free live EP, of their performance at London's Union Chapel from just over a year ago. It features the following tracks:
- Orange
- Grekken
- With A Kiss And A Tear
- Floods
Click here to get it. Though, remember, the sound quality isn't 100%. There's a little bit of hiss, but the band reminds you of this anyway. It kinda adds to the atmosphere. They said:
You may notice some sound interference within the recordings - we know they are not perfect, it's how it came out and it's partly why it's free!
Fair enough, then. There's also a video made from the performance at the Union Chapel, which you can watch below.
Catch them live at these places:
March 18 - Leeds, Brudenell Social Club
May 28 - Coventry, St John's Church
May 29 - Leeds, Howard Assembly Room
