If, like me, you've only heard 'Ambling Alp' from Brookyln trio Yeasayer's new record, Odd Blood, then you're probably pretty eager to hear some more from it, regardless if you've pre-ordered it or WHATEVER.
Fortunately for me, and you, they've got a new single out, which they've kindly released entirely for free, in exchange for the usual 'sign up to our mailing list' malarkey. Seems like a decent deal to me. Click on that widget below, do the necessary and get the track, which is called 'O.N.E.'.
It's possibly not quite as mega as 'Ambling Alp' but still retains the 'how people in the 1970s thought music in 2010 SHOULD sound' theme. That is no bad thing. Especially if you imagine them performing the song in space helmets and tin-foil suits.
'O.N.E' is released on March 22 through Mute, and the album, Odd Blood will be released on February 8, also on Mute, obviously. Click here to view the album art and point your peepers below to see where they're playing.
