Danish art-rockers Mew are to release a live album in December, taken from a performance at the Hollywood Palladium waaaaaaaaaaay back on September 2, from this year. It will be called Live At The Hollywood Palladium, aptly enough. It features several tracks from this year's full length, No More Stories_ or, to give it its full name, _ No More Stories / Are Told Today / I'm Sorry / They Washed Away // No More Stories / The World Is Grey / I'm Tired / Let's Wash Away. Ridiculous in the absolute extreme.
Here's the tracklisting for the album, all ELEVEN tracks of it.
- Intro
- The Circuitry Of The Wolf
- Chinaberry Tree
- Am I Wry? No
- 156
- Hawaii
- Hawaii Dream
- Special
- The Zookeeper's Boy
- Sometimes Life Isn't Easy
- Comforting Sounds
It's out on December 7, so not tooooo far away, and a possible contender for a Christmas present, ennit. Though it is digital only, we believe, so no actual wrapping necessary, which can only be a bonus. If you happen to be located somewhere in Scandinavia, and are a fan of the band, these dates might be worth looking at:
November:
23 - Stockholm, Circus
25 - Helsinki, Old Ice Hall
27 - Aarhus, Scandinavian Congress Centre
28 - Copenhagen, KB-Hallen
