Lou Barlow's name elicits a certain reaction in indie-rock circles - a positively good one, to be fair. I mean, the man's been in Sebadoh and Dinosaur Jr. for Pete's sake. Could you want any more? Oh yeah, The Folk Implosion, too.
But anyway, Mr Barlow's got a new album on its way very shortly indeed, his second solo album under his own name. It's due on October 5 via Domino and is called Goodnight Unknown.
Before that, however, there's a single being released, entitled 'The Right', and that's out on September 28. Personnel on the album include Melvins and one-time Nirvana drummer Dale Crover, as well as Imaad Wasif on the guitar.
Below we have the video for the aforementioned single:
In addition to that we also have a film for 'Take Advantage', recorded in Lou's very own home in Los Angeles.
