Reverence: three day shoegaze fest confirmed for ICA
domgourlay by Dom Gourlay September 7th, 2009

Highly regarded shoegaze label Club AC30 have announced the line-ups and dates for their second Reverence festival, a series of shows over three nights featuring some of the genre's most legendary and current artists. This year's event takes place from Thursday 26th to Saturday 28th November at the ICA building in London, and features live sets from nine bands including Creation legends Swervedriver, DiS faves The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart (main picture) and a one-off (and first show in well over a decade) show from original shoegazers Chapterhouse.

The line-up in full is as follows:

Thursday 26th November: Chapterhouse + Ulrich Schnauss + Air Formation
Buy tickets here.

Friday 27th November:
Swervedriver + Jesu + The Depreciation Guild
Buy tickets here.

Saturday 28th November:
The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart + Ringo Deathstarr + The Tamborines
Buy tickets here.

Of course, the following weekend is the My Bloody Valentine curated All Tomorrow's Parties, which also features Swervedriver among many of the genre's other leading lights, and an already very excited DiS will be at both weekends bringing you the full lowdown.
