A selection of video tasties from the last few days and weeks for you. Thankfully none of them involve FC Barcelona or North Korean rockets, though the Pendulum one may have you yearning for destruction on an unprecedented scale.
Casetteboy - 'vs. The Bloody Apprentice'
This one has well and truly been doing the rounds. Mix-up manipulation master Cassetteboy makes Alan Sugar look like a blaaady bleedin' plum! Something like that, anyway.
Bat For Lashes - 'Pearl's Dream'
The noughties' Kate Bush. Natasha Khan seems to be wearing a coat made entirely of Kelly Osborne wigs. Watch this to see Miss Khan fly, or at least levitate with the help of invisible wires.
Pendulum - 'Propane Nightmares'
This is all trying to be a bit...epic...isn't it lads? Where it fails in this regard I think it succeeds in cringeworthyness.
Patrick Wolf - 'Hard Times'
If you've ever seen Patrick Wolf in the flesh, the first thing you'll notice is how tall he is. The second thing you'll notice is his penchant for some pretty amazing outfits. This video showcases the latter.
Blackout Crew - 'We Are The Vs'
Not only does it have a banging donk on it, it also has an inspirational message. Simply the greatest thing to come out of Bolton since Sajid Mahmood.
Tortoise - 'Prepare Your Coffin'
Taken from their forthcoming album Beacons Of Ancestorship. This track can also be downloaded in mp3 format here. This kinda reminds me of the front cover for Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here. Not sure why, but it just seems like it should end in two suited men exchanging a flaming handshake.
School of Seven Bells - 'My Cabal'
SVIIB are a band seemingly unaware of how to pronounce a word in the title of this song. According to the press release it's "like the electronic connector". Whether that's on purpose or not - for some deeper "meaning" - we don't know. What we do know is that it's a little bit annoying. Still, a superbly dreamy song.
Jamie T - 'Sticks 'n' Stones'
Love him or hate him, this video features Jamie T running down Wimbledon and Hampton Wick station platforms and rapping into a seemingly crestfallen clown's face.
