Goth-wars: Manson lays into MCR
TheBoyDeadly by TheBoyDeadly June 5th, 2007

Schlocking rocker Marilyn Manson has launched an attack on Gerard Way's My Chemical Romance, who he claims are plagiarising him.

Speaking to daily bilge bible The London Paper, Manson revealed that the song 'Mutilation is the Most Sincere Form of Flattery' from his latest album was written about Way's band. Sample lyric: "Fuck you, fuck you".

Really? Expand:

"I'm embarrassed to be me because these people are doing a really sad, pitiful, shallow version of what I've done.

"If they want to identify with me then here's a razor blade. Call me when you're done and we'll talk."

Whadda betch! Whadda you reckon, DiS public? Speak and the world shall listen. I'm off home to pay the rent. That means I'll have £300 in my pocket. If any of you can get to me on London's travel network as I journey home, I'll set you a tenner. Truth.
