BigSexyLand relaunches: new venue for London club
Mike_Diver by Mike Diver May 3rd, 2007

Popular with those-what-are-popular club night BigSexyLand re-launches next weekend at a new venue in the capital, The Phoenix on Cavendish Square.

The night - which plays everything from nasty Warp 12"s to, erm, Japan - kicks off on May 11. That's next Friday night, right? Right!

Click to the club's website, here, for more information and a map and stuff.

Say the BigSexyLand peeps behind the scenes:

Starting on the 11th of May, BSL will be held on the second Friday of each month at The Phoenix, which boasts a bigger sound system, more lights, plusher furnishings, a bigger space for the DJs to jump around like baboons in, and the all-important mirror-ball.

Fortunately, none of this comes at a price, and The Phoenix has the same kind of sensible bar prices and quality drinks selection as The Albany. Door prices are also being kept the same - £5 or £4 for NUS / DSS - so there is absolutely no excuse not to join us for another serving of old new wave, new new wave, pop, and acid, garnished with a crackle of electro, a chunky slab of industrial and spangly dash of glittery disco.

DiS special offer!
Get in for free on May 11 by simply saying to the door person, "I am a mouse, and I live in THIS house!"

That will get you in for nowt. Fresh wicked fresh and both big and sexy, indeed.
