Red Top Ramble... pop goss from showbiz central
disnews by DiS News May 27th, 2005
hello chaps, some gossip from the newspapers today as DiS searches for some hard facts to tell you about...

Pete Doherty, who attended yesterday's Ivor Novello songwriting awards, reckons he might marry Kate Moss at Gretna Green. The Daily Star also managed to bomb the entire story by revealing that Kate didn't actually know, and it was in fact probably random bobbings uttered by the Star-labelled 'Junkie Rocker'. They also said that he naughtily 'graffed' the toilets with his and Kate's initials and revealed that the 31 year old supermodel was going to be dancing with his band at Glasto. She's 'choreographing' the moves now, apparently. Oh yeah, and Pete reckons his flat's been bugged and that he got £500 royalties from the last Libertines LP whereas the rest of the band got £90,000 each or so...

The Spice Girls are seemingly definitely on for the big Live Aid shindig in Hyde Park this summer. No one's sure if it's Live Aid II or Live 8 or something equally as 21st century, but regardless, Ginger (32), Posh(31), Sporty(31), Scary(29) and Baby(29) will be there. Oh, the mortification. Rumours are that there will be U2s, Jaggers and Franzs taking part too...

Elton John's getting married it seems, to long term partner Dave, which is nice. Britney was seen dashing out of a restuarant with recent husband bloke with what was speculated 'stomach cramps'... she's pregnant, y'know... Oh, and apparently she's got rid of her dog. Geri Halliwell has too... news!

And... Tom Jones wants to duet with compatriot Charlotte Church. Duet... dirty old man. Or maybe we got the wrong end of the stick.
