Tom Vek goes iNstore for iTunes - win tickets
disnews by DiS News May 19th, 2005
On May 31st, Tom Vek, he of the cheeky Talking Heads-esque lo-fi pop, is doing a full live session upstairs in the Apple store (Regent Street, London) in front of an invited audience.

If you're there, you will receive an exclusive laminate with artwork specially designed by Tom. Each laminate will feature a unique code which the user can use in the iTunes UK store to download the full session. There will also be screens downstairs in the Apple Store, so fans turning up on the night can watch the performance. They will all be given a postcard entitling them to download 3 free (Tom Vek) tracks from the iTunes UK store. The session itself will be available to download within a few days to a week of the gig.

Why are we telling you this? Well, because a) you might like to know and go along and watch it downstairs in the pleb section, and b) We've got four pairs of laminates to give away.

It's all very simple.: just answer the following question and fill in the box. As usual.

What is the name of Tom Vek's record label? (please note, we're not talking about Island Records, though his label lives there, we mean his own imprint he releases his records on)

Deadline is Monday, 23rd May.
