Hmmm… I think I’ve heard this before. Ah yes… I have. There may be a different logo on the tin, but Underwater records could so easily save everybody a bit of a time and just put ‘generic house music’ on the sleeve instead. This isn’t a bad record, just utterly inoffensive as it ploughs through in a warm melange of minor chords. As to the key question of whether you would ever want to hear it again? Well, no is the simple answer. If you could recall even the vaguest hint of what constituted a chorus, it may have some intrinsic value.
If you’re all sorted for E's and sangria whilst you bound around the Balearics, this of course may provide a perfectly apt accompaniment. Considering Iceland’s insanely creative lineage of late though, one would hope for something a bit more exciting, a little more otherworldly from this Reykjavik spouting.
