Debut album from the New Jersey
Emo/Indie-Rock five-piece Blue Channel, one of America’s best-hid secrets**
Their sound is quite hard to nail down, I
guess if you were to combine Samiam, The Get Up Kids and Penfold you wouldn’t
be to far off the emotive rock that Blue Channel produce. They play their songs
at a blistering pace but at the same time they manage to be extremely melodic.
The vocals and lyrics are also stunning not
only can you make all of them out, you can also relate to them. Brian has no
problem with sharing his life experiences with the world, unlike some other
bands he only shares the ones that might have happened to you and the ones
you’d relate to the most. The album only lasts half an hour but with
songs like ‘Space Invader’, ‘Fruity Plumber’ and ‘Clean Wipe’ it
could easily be a life-changing 30 minutes. So if any of you record labels wants
to sign one of America’s best young bands, email me and I’ll give you more
info
