The Libertines return for their first LP since 2004, full of sharp garage slop, glam anthems, Waterloo sunburn and loads of references to their collapse. 'Anthems For Doomed Youth' was recorded in Karma Sound Studios in Thailand's Bang Saray (close to where Pete recently completed rehab). It's rich with mood and gorgeous melodies, and a pervasive doomy streak. It's great to have Barat and Doherty back together.
