Search on Spotifytimes new viking release their latest album via new 'homes' - wichita recordings (europe), merge (us), pop frenzy (australia) and big nothing (japan). on 'dancer equired' times new viking have dropped the noise and turned up the tunes. which doesn't mean the end of lo-fi - 'more rumours' is a mash note to guided by voices, whereas 'no room to live' resembles a broken yo la tengo. it's more like a graceful redevelopment, tempered with vital sweet-sodden scruff-rock like 'ways to go'. fun as fuck.
