the glaswegian quintet are back with their sophomore effort 'the wants' on chemikal underground. it's another eclectic, egalitarian, and idiosyncratic outing, with influences including david lynch and john carpenter soundtracks, german kosmische, tom waits, and the use of teenage fanclub's wurlitzer organ. lyrical inspiration found in lycanthropy, vampires, doppelgangers and the salem witch trials.
