Jingle jangle, jingle jangle plonk.
That’s the sound of music – Our Music, their industry – falling into a very deep abyss.
Did you know that Universal officially bought music last week? If you check the back of your neck – just gently sweep your fashionable haircut to one side – you’ll feel the words PROPERTY OF UNIVERSAL MUSIC stamped across your nape.
But, via the Universal Records-affiliated Young And Lost Club, we can allay our fears about the death of music by listening to this rather playful romp, with its shifting chords and gossamer skating across the top of the pop pond.
You know that old myth whereby the spider bites the neck of someone, and a couple of months later, hundreds of spiders burst out of the pulsating lump?

I like this song
dunno why. I like the chorus, well the bit where it goes 'trouble follows this vagabond'. It doesn't outstay it's welcome either.
Not sure it's got long term appeal but it presses the right buttons at the moment. Saw them live in May and they didn't appear to have enough good songs yet but if they can write more as pleasing as this one, I reckon they'll be pretty good.
also
how did you neglect to link to the episode of peep show tht the lead singer is in?
Gareth
are you feeling particuarly cynical today? You realised you managed 10 words on the band in that review (if that!)?
I really want to call you Dobby. Oh the shame!<hides behind hair in corner of room> LOL
which!?
episode of peep show is he in? He's Nathan Barely also isn't he?
*in
sorry
peep show
I think he's in the first or second episode of Peep Show series 4. He plays Sophie's brother. He was quite funny in Peep Show, but his band are beyond a fucking joke. They're 2007's version of Menswear - fucking scenester template scum.
