Yup, glam rocker turned glum rocker Nicky Wire is to follow the lead of fellow Manic Street Preacher James 'we're not' Dean 'splitting up' Bradfield and embark upon a solo career.

'The Shining Path', available to download from iTunes on July 17th, will be the first single plucked from debut album I Shot The Zeitgeist.

This paragraph would usually be used to house some disparaging remark, some cutting jibe to put Mr Wire down a peg or three. Something about his wearing of girly make-up, or leopard-print pants... something like that. I watched Doherty on Johnny Woss

And it reminded me so much of Richie James and Nicky wire in the early 90's.
