5 weeks 'til the first rock fest of the year! No Sleep 'til Donnington! Lots of ace new bands added to the bill...

The Barfly Stage has been confirmed, and it features a plethora of great new bands, who join the Download bill which features everyone from Metallica, Iggy & The Stooges and Slipknot, to Biffy Clyro ('Mon The Biffy!), Pennywise and KoRn. It's a vertiable rock feast for any self-respecting black tee or tie wearing rock brat!

Bring earplugs... and lots of them. The bassist and drummer are damn good for their age (and will probably be in an amazing band before they leave their teens), but the lead guitarist isn't exactly Tom Morello and the lead singer is damn cocky for the level of his talent.

has anyone failed to noticed that on sunday:slayer! the gods of thrash metal....thought so.....also the fact that dillenger escape plan, and sum 41 on the same bill....this is one screwed up bill. never the less it'll be one of the greatest weekends of my life so far

Hey folks ive only heard them play once in the hub bar dublin and I thought they were fuckin amazin they really got the crowd goin for all the age of them.Also they must be alrite theyve just backed ash up in there home town and funeral for a friend in the dublin ambassador and the feed back I got from the Dublin gig was that they rocked the place up.But each to there own

They did win an Irish battle of the bands in january beating over 600 bands who took part. But thats not why they are playin Download, it's because they'er awsome and a lot of ppl know that.

Well Peter like all bands starting out they learn their trade by covering other bands material first then progress with their own stuff, I can only assume you have not heard the band live recently. It's all their own stuff and it's great. Come to Download or Oxygen and judge for yourself.
