Johnny Truant Begin Album Number 2

The two band met during the Kerrang! Weekender in 2003. Dutkiewicz had this to say on the new, as yet untitled, recording: "Get ready for an aural assault, a riffing frenzy that will give you hot diarrhoea for a week. Like an iron-ore enema, Johnny and his truants will sodomize you with metal...BOOM!"
The album follows the band's debut, 'The Repercussions Of A Badly Planned Suicide', which was well-received by much of the press. Whilst there's no title for the new album as yet, lead vocalist Olly Mitchell said: "So far titles include 'A Day In The Death', 'The Bloodening', 'Dirty Vampire Feeding Frenzy'. The record surrounds itself with everything people don't tend to talk about in the UK 'scene'. Blood, sex, prostitution... we wanted to challenge ourselves to write about different subjects! We just want to project the things people don't ever want to talk about but disguise them with our music. It seems people are expecting some stereotypical clique metalcore record out of us - unfortunately they're not going to get it! They are going to get something they'd be to scared to take back!"
DiS thinks Mr Dutkiewicz is a little nuts.
