And the answer? Some place in the large country we Brits like to call 'America'. Why is this even relevant to DiS? Well, get this: the mayor of said small town has given the key to the gaff to none other than Alice Cooper, simply because of the shared name. MENTAL.
About a thousand people showed up to see the rocker presented with his gold-plated key - no small achievement for a town with an alleged population of 60.
The town's mayor, Dan Lund, said:
"There's not a whole lot of buildings to unlock with that key, but Alice is a cool guy and Alice is a cool city - so it's a fun thing to do."
Lund was never into Cooper's music, though, saying: "He rocked a little too hard for me."

Apart from Alice's (real name Vincent Fournier) mighty contribution to music world and scaring little children, I should mention here, that I had a good fortune to meet the man himself once in Vienna. Believe me, you cannot find a nicer, warmer, friendlier and more decent person if you look with a flashlight. We talked for about 15 minutes and he was great, while his wife Cheryl was windowshopping. So why not give him a key to the city, he's a fine chap, is Alice.
